Why No Stock Picks

Many subscribers have asked why do we not tout individual stocks as most newsletters do.

Bottom line is we are here to help you succeed as an investor and one of our core beliefs is that stock picking is a fools game.

You are infinitely better off buying an index fund besides which, the #1 factor in successful investing is asset allocation, that is deciding between equities, bonds and cash (which is exactly what we do). BTW, #2 is fees.

If you insist on more risk / reward (and we don't), you can achieve the volatility you seek with ETF's (exchange traded funds) that offer two and three times the volatility of the underlying index.

Brokerage firms often times pick stocks trying to offer some value to their clients but it usually turns out that the client would have been better off in an index fund anyway.  See year long study HERE.
